Welcome and Introduction

Mission Seminar 2 took place in Denver at the Center of The Golden One, March 24-27, 2016. About 160 people participated worldwide, and people streamed live from Munich, Arizona, Argentina and a few others from individual locations. We are happy to have you join us and urge you to participate as if you are doing it live, all of us with you.

Mission Seminar 2 is a “working seminar.” It will inform you of the organizational and spiritual changes that took place since Mission Seminar 1. In the seminar, there was further spiritual movement for all, which you will have too, as you participate.

(Please see the document “Background – Mission Seminar 1” by clicking on “Materials” at the top of this page, if you did not attend that Seminar or do the make up. This will give you more context to understanding Mission Seminar 2).

This seminar took place over 4 days, and the make-up is organized by day. (It was originally scheduled for 5 days but there was a blizzard in Denver on the first day, so in Denver that day was cancelled.) The days were roughly 8-10 hours long and they have all been videotaped. The videos include all that was presented — talks, smaller videos that were shown, audio talks, meditations, etc. You will be able to videostream each of the videos.

Watch the videos in the order of the days and in the numbered order. There is a progression to the movement that happened and this way you will be included in all of it. When you click on the Unit for each day in the sidebar, you will be able to see how many videos there are to view and the length of each one. This information will help you can plan your schedule accordingly. When there is an interactive exercise or a meditation, you will be instructed on what to do during that time; those instructions are in italics and may be in bold.

Before you begin to watch the videos of the four Days, do the preparation assignment located in the module titled “Items to Prepare” in this Welcome section. The assignment is for you to get a binder and tabs and print many handouts to put into it. If you participated in Mission Seminar 1, most of your binder is already constructed. You will just be adding some handouts, which are accessed by clicking on the “Materials” tab for each page.

Lastly, if you have questions about the content of the course, please send an email to thecollege@miracle.org.

Thank you for participating.
